Local wine country vineyards yield premier Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, the nearby coast beckons, the river shimmers, and Korbel’s vineyards surround to the west and north. Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley is a vacation wonderland filled with wine, canoeing, hiking, music, redwoods and the Pacific coast – a playground for diverse interests; and you’re invited.
The beautifully decorated living room has wall-of-glass views onto coastal oaks and towering redwoods on the grounds. The living room and guest-kitchen are truly for the guests’ use, so go ahead and play cards on the oak table, read a book on one of the overstuffed chairs while enjoying fresh-baked cookies from the kitchen. Chill a bottle of wine in the guest-kitchen fridge and use the glasses, plates, silver and trays to build yourself a picnic for the picnic-table past the barn in the shade of the coastal oaks.
The inn has ten guest rooms; each with private baths, beautifully furnished. The decor boasts a flair for pleasing colors and textures. Filtered sunlight penetrates the inn's expansive windows, while views of redwoods and meadows are picture-perfect. Signature red chairs dot the grounds for leisurely renewal time and communing in the fresh air.

Sonoma Orchid Inn hosts and caters Special Events
Based on the season, we can accommodate small to medium-size groups at the inn. Our grounds are informally landscaped, have a grassy area with a lush leafy backdrop for privacy and natural beauty, a covered flagstone patio and tall stands of redwoods and mature native trees. There is additional space for a canopy or tenting.
