Perched on a hillside overlooking Smuggler's Cove and the blue of the Pacific, the new Brewery Gulch Inn features distinctive Craftsman architecture utilizing 150-year-old virgin redwood timbers, eco-salvaged from Big River.

Ocean views, fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs for two, private decks, Arts and Crafts decor, comfortable, well-appointed rooms, TVs, dataport telephones, concierge service and complimentary full gourmet breakfast and wine hour with hors d'oeuvres.

Light-filled, corner room with private deck facing the ocean and windows overlooking the meadow.

Queen bed covered in a sunny comforter with flower motif and furnishings are in a cherry finish. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub for two and shower.

The Lookout

Reached by a private, short staircase, this room has an outstanding ocean view. Queen bed with a red velvet quilt, furnishings in mahogany finish, bathroom with tub/shower combination.

A full gourmet breakfast is served in the common Great Room or on an outside ocean-view deck, where you can also enjoy afternoon wine hour with hors d'oeuvres. Our  French-trained chef  prepares exceptional dishes using organic ingredients.

Things to do on the North Coast include visiting the historic village of Mendocino, hiking, biking, canoing up Big River, kayaking, horseback riding on the beach, exploring state parks, art galleries, live theatre, museums, fishing, beachcombing, berry picking, wild mushroom foraging, and fine dining.
