Enjoy comfort, friendliness, and Napa's warmest welcome at Cedar Gables Inn. Built in 1892, Cedar Gables was designed by English architect Ernest Coxhead. The style is that of Old England, fashioned after the days of Shakespeare, and is entirely different from any other residence in the state. Built as a wedding gift for Edward W. Churchill, it became a boarding house in the 1930's, was used to house the military during WWII, and just recently became one of Napa's historic Bed & Breakfast Inns.
Each day begins with a full "Cedar Gables Inn" breakfast served in the elegant Dining Room or cheerful Sunroom, which includes freshly brewed coffee, juice, seasonal fruits, plus a variety of homemade muffins and breads. Your entree changes daily and may feature such specialties as French pancakes, "egg mess" or Margaret's popular French toast soufflé.
From the old time feel of Cedar Gables to all the pleasures that the Napa Valley now has to offer, your visit will surely be a memorable one. |
