We are just five miles north of the historic town of Dahlonega, over an hour drive north of Atlanta and minutes away from the Appalachian Trail.

Mountain Laurel Creek is a place anyone will feel comfortable, we celebrate diversity and welcome people from all walks of life. Make our home your private retreat.

Relax and be Pampered in a Scenic Mountain Setting

Mountain Laurel Creek is the premier B&B for that special mountain getaway, with four luxurious suites to choose from, a perfect mountain setting and a peaceful and quiet sanctuary to totally relax, re-energize and pamper yourself or that special someone.

Spend the day relaxing in the library reading a book or playing board games on the screened porch. Hike our private trail down to the creek, stroll through our gardens, or spend the day hiking the Appalachian Trail and the many other State Parks in the area. You can also go horseback riding, kayaking, tubing, or canoeing down the Chestatee or Etowah Rivers.

Each spacious room has a queen size bed, sitting room, private bath with a whirlpool tub for two, separate shower, private balcony, in-room coffee service, clock radio with CD player, and the Mountain View Room & Vineyard Room both have a gas fireplace.

There is a separate private entrance from the common areas.

A Full breakfast is included with room rate

Your stay includes a wonderful gourmet breakfast (our favorite is German Apple Pancakes!) served between 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. Complementary wine or tea and snacks are served at 5:00-6:00 p.m. There is a TV with satellite reception and a VCR in the common living room for viewing. Sorry, our accommodations are not suitable for children.

Spa Services

Oasis Spa is located at Mountain Laurel Creek Inn and is open to the public. Hours are by appointment only - 10am-7pm, 7 days a week.

This is well worth the 9 plus hour drive from West Palm Beach, FL. Peaceful & serence, just what a weekned in the country is supposed to be like. The hiking is fabulous. We recommend Ravens Cliff Falls and Duke Falls. The Appalachain trail was a very long day and nice to come back to the conforts of this lovely B&B. Everything was perfect. Thank you - Dianna & Gar

 The Copper Penny Pub at Mountain Laurel Creek Inn & Spa

The Copper Penny Pub is open to all our B&B Guests. We feature wines from all four of our local area wineries. We have no set hours, but will be around from 4-7pm. and guest can ring the bell for service up till abut 10pm if we are not at the front desk.

  • Minimum stay required (2 nights on weekends on holidays and during the fall)

  • We cannot accommodate guest pets (We have one dog of our own.)

  • Check in time is 3pm - 8pm and Check out time is 11am
