Discover the quiet charm and elegance
of this intimate bed and breakfast located on one of the most scenic streets in the
historic district. It was built for Tomlinson F. Johnson in 1888. At that time he
was manager of the Savannah Theatre.
We have tried
to preserve the history of the past and filled our home with a number of antiques to give
you the feel of the days gone by. We have 12 fireplaces, several parlors and porches, and
a beautiful bricked courtyard and garden. Just relax and let yourself be pampered.

Walk through our front doors and appreciate the
beautiful 118-year-old mosaic tiled floor, which has been preserved along with the natural
woodwork and elegant stairway. The unique floor pattern has been hand painted along the
walls to show an appreciation for the talents of long ago. When we greet our guests here,
we offer everything we can think of to ensure a wonderful stay.

Dahlia Suite
Probably our most elegant suite!
This room offers a sitting room, queen size 4 post canopy bed, fireplace, ceiling fan, TV,
and kitchenette for private dining. It is painted in a majestic blue with hand stenciled
gold trim. Full bath with a Jacuzzi tub. $220
Rose Room
This room has a lovely hand carved mahogany queen bed, private bath and shower, two
comfortable antique chairs, its own TV and the ambiance of a fireplace and ceiling fan.
Its name comes from the hand painted roses that adorn the walls. $165
Camellia Room
This room has a queen size poster bed. There are 2 comfortable wing back chairs and a full
bath with a tub shower. Hand painted lace stencil patterns accent the room giving it a
warm and tranquil feel. $180
Magnolia Room
Our only room with a king size bed which, if given ample notice, can be arranged into twin
beds. The room is furnished with a fireplace, antique tapestry couch, antique armoire, TV,
ceiling fan, TV and private bath with shower. It is stenciled in the soft colors of the
magnolia flower. $195
The Geranium Room
This suite is tastefully decorated in a victorian style. The lounge comes complete with
cable TV, an entertainment system, stocked library, a comfy sofa and a writing desk. The
bathroom has a modern and uniquely designed shower. The large airy bedroom has a full
fireplace and lots of windows. $190
Hydrangea Suite
Antique furniture, fireplace and fan. Sleeper Sofa
in Living Room. Eating area that seats 4. Full kitchen Large enough to cook in and a
beautiful 4 poster queen bed in the bedroom. Private bath with tub/shower. $220
Ivy Suite
Quaint and Cozy - All the comforts of home, but without the workPrivate entrance, King
Bedroom with fireplace, small kitchen and full bath with oversize tub. $220 - Additional

| Start your day off right
with a wonderful choice of breakfast foods in our dining room. Homemade granola, breads,
muffins and pastries compliment a variety of soufflés and frittatas. Occasionally, Jane's
homemade doughnuts grace the breakfast table. "I am pleased that many of our guests request my recipes and can
continue to indulge in our scrumptious foods even after they leave Sarah's Garden."

Kitchen... This seems to be the most popular
spot for the majority of our guests. Whether it is for an early cup of coffee or a little
lingering after breakfast to inquire about activities for the day. But for most, it is a
time to enjoy some refreshments and sample Jane's fares after a busy day of sightseeing...
or wrap up the entire day with a friendly chat and a sample of the homemade cookies being
prepared for the next arrival of guests.
Parlor... Our parlor is always open to our
guests, just sit and relax or enjoy some of our homemade liqueurs as you get acquainted
with one another during our afternoon cocktail hour.
The Courtyard at Sarah's Garden... Here is
where you can feel totally at home. Rock away and enjoy any part of the day, or just
lounge by the pool in the privacy of the back courtyard.
If you happen to be here when Rocky
and Jane manage to get away to do some shrimping or crabbing you may want to partake in an
old fashioned crab boil.
