There are 5 bedrooms opening onto
decks that look over the Idaho prairie
and distant mountains. A jacuzzi, barbecues, and hiking trails are available.
The five bedrooms are newly painted, with new beds and beddings at a reasonable rate. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, its own private bath with jacuzzi, and private covered deck. It also opens onto the spacious common deck. The other bedrooms have queensize beds. Three of them have direct access to the spacious second-story common deck.
There are 5 bedrooms, all with new beds, bedding and carpets. They all have large windows with great views.
The pride of the house is the master bedroom. It has a large walk-in closet, a jacuzzi for two, and, best of all, a covered deck where you can watch the lightning play across the whole sky or see the sunset or a moose and her calf in a snowstorm. $135.00

Slate and concrete patios, surrounded by a large grassy area, all within 100 treed acres with trails allow guests to gather in groups or wander alone in solitude.
A sunken living room is the place to sit and enjoy the view while listening to your favorite music. You might even see a number of wild animals and birds. Bring binoculars and cameras!!
Breakfast is when you want it
The favorite choice is waffles with fruit from the garden, syrups and whip or sour cream. I ground the wheat when I make them. The second choice is a frittata with vegetables from the garden. I can make them vegetarian if desired. I offer homemade granola if you want it or will try to accommodate your special needs or desires.
Fresh breads from home ground wheat and seasonal produce from a chemical-free garden area always available. The hostess loves to prepare nourishing and exotic foods. Just ask! You might also get a long explanation about the recipe and why it is good or different, but, hey!, that comes with the territory! New recipes are always welcome!
Nearby Activities |
| Probably the most popular activity is horseback riding. There are ranches within 1/2 hour from here that do trail rides for the beginners and for the advanced. Some are larger groups. The cost is from $15 to $40 depending on the length of ride and number of people. New donkeys are born every year at Candy Allen's Candy Ass Ranch. Winter favorites are dog-sledding and skijoring for the canine lovers. It's busy here in North Idaho country!!!! |
Directions to Cedar Springs:
Cedar Springs B&B is about 40 miles from Spokane, 20 miles from Coeur d'Alene, and 15 from Post Falls. It is 9 miles north of Interstate 90, exit 7, on highway 41. It is easy to find but there is one tricky part and a few signs to watch for. The tricky part is staying on highway 41 through Rathdrum over the railroad overpass. To do this, take a left (if you are coming from I 90) at the first light in Rathdrum. Take a right at the second light heading towards Spirit lake. (Please see the map.) The signs that tell you of Sturgeon Road (the road where Cedar Springs is located)is the 10-mile marker right at the bottom of Sturgeon, a sign for Parks Mill and our own sign. If you have gone to Twin Lakes Village, you have gone too far. Cedar Springs is .6 mile from highway 41.
