The Bare Rose Room This romantic room was named after former owners of the property, Leonard & Dorothy Bare - as this was their bedroom for 18 years. - A 10-foot mahogany Eastlake armoire with double doors and original mirrors stands just across the room. And, a hand carved cherry double dresser and ornate mirror adds to the romantic, antique charm of this room. Plus, there is a private sitting area too! |
The Halstead Deluxe Suite Named in honor of prominent attorney, Nat Halstead - an early owner of the property. This elegant room measures 20' x 20', and boasts a large window sitting area. The Halstead Suite has a private bath with a Thermal-masseur tub and shower too! |

The Bartley Room The Bartley Room, named after Cleo Bartley, who purchased the property in 1955. This is a lovely, spacious room with a four-poster bed. The Bartley is especially romantic on a cool evening with the glowing fireplace. Also in the room is a beautiful antique walnut armoire. |
The Muir Room Named after Dr. James Muir, father-in-law to Nat Halstead. The Muir Room is 9'x13'. As with all of our rooms it is decorated with a king size bed and sitting area. This is a lovely room. |

Federal Suite
The Federal suite, located in our Federal House (the original plantation home) provides unique accommodation on our property. The home was restored to preserve the original early 1800's Federal style architecture. Two bedrooms are available (add $50 for the second bedroom) with queen beds and are located on the 2nd floor. A private living room is located on the first floor, complete with a 32" TV, stereo, and comfortable furniture. this is truly a home away from home! |
Stiles Master Suite You climb the old, steep, slave staircase to enter the Stiles Suite, built in the old servants quarters attached to the mansion. The bedroom has a wonderful king-size four-poster bed, and there is an adjoining sitting room too! The stiles suite is romantic, beautiful, spacious & interesting! |

Reservations, Cancellations, Refund Policy We know even the best-laid plans can fall apart. However, in our home we rely primarily on advance reservations, and cancellations cannot always be filled immediately. So in fairness to all concerned, we request the following be observed: Reservations are made via our secure online reservation system, and a credit card is required. If you prefer, you can call us and we will enter the information into the system for you. There is a $100 per reservation (per room) deposit, that is non-refundable and is applied to your balance. In the event of cancellation, fees are deducted from this deposit. Special events require a minimum stay of two or three nights, depending upon the event. Unless given 14 days notice of room cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited, and credit card charged for the reservation. Provided fourteen days notice of cancellation, cancellation and processing fees will be deducted and the remainder of the deposit can be refunded in a gift card or applied to a future stay. Special Events, holidays, and whole-house rentals require a sixty day notice of cancellation. Please notify us immediately if a cancellation or change becomes necessary. There is no cancellation allowed during the week of Kentucky Derby, or the International Bourbon Festival. Please feel free to call us at 888-420-9703 if you have questions.
