Built in 1775 by Abijah Waterman, Blue Skye Farm is now owned by an English/American couple, Jan and Peter Davidson, who have converted it to a small bed and breakfast inn.

There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. They share a large bathroom with an antique clawfoot tub and shower. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor. Each has its own bathroom. |
The age of this historic house is apparent in the original wall stencils in the entrance hall and stairway by Moses Eaton, whose stencils are now owned by The Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities, and in reminders of another age like the bread oven in the fireplace and the Indian Shutters.

The owners live in an adjacent cottage leaving the entire house, (5 bedrooms, sitting room, dining room and large country kitchen) for their guests to enjoy. There are 100 acres of tracked woodland for hiking, cross country skiing, bird watching or just strolling and an abundance of wildlife (beaver, muskrat, deer, moose, coyote), birds and waterfowl. These, combined with the clarity of air and light, make Blue Skye Farm a water colorists dream and a perfect retreat between sightseeing trips.
