What you should know about Poland
Spring:
Cyndi and Mel have owned this property (800 acres, 3
inns, 9 cottages, 18 hole golf course) for 28 years. Once Poland Spring
was an exclusive playground for millionaires, and still the source of Poland
Spring water. The water is still here, but most of the millionaires are
gone. We wanted it that way. We believe that a vacation should be FREE OF
STRESS . . . and financially available to people of good will.
"We know that the average cost of one night at a resort like ours is somewhere
between $200.00 and $400.00...and that includes the baloney! When you come to Poland
Spring you will have to carry your own luggage (but you don't need much, as
fancy or formal dress is not required). You will have to open your own doors (you didn't
pay for doormen dressed as English knights). You will have to bring your own soap, towels,
and room glasses (ask Mel how much you pay for these "freebies" at a
hotel)."

WHAT'S THERE TO DO? |
|
We are like an olde tyme country inn. There are no elevators. You may request a ground floor room, but at most there can be two flights of stairs. No phones in the rooms . . . AT&T phones in every Inn Lobby . . . black & white TV's in all Inn rooms (bad news looks more remote in B&W) . . . and the nicest people you will ever meet . . . at these prices we never put up with nasty people or nudniks. We promise that your everyday stress, will fold their tents and silently steal away. Mel & Cyndi Robbins, Innkeepers
