The Inn at Valley Farms located in Walpole, New Hampshire, is said to be one of the most picturesque towns in all of New England. The town is complete with rows of white historic homes and churches, its own challenging 9-hole golf course, and Sunday concerts on the common. Nestled amongst some of the greenest rolling hills of the Connecticut River Valley, bordered by a 500-acre orchard, and just minutes to Keene, Brattleboro or Interstate 91.

Guestrooms in the Inn are large and spacious offering antique furnishings, air conditioning, fresh flowers, and handmade Burdick Chocolates at bedside. Plenty of common areas are available in the house for guests to socialize or relax. A library stocked with numerous books on local and regional history, a comfortable living room, and a game room with all the perennial favorites are there for your enjoyment.

For those with a sweet tooth, the cookie jar is always full of homemade confections.

Breakfast is a multi-course homemade affair, which always includes entrees, jams, breads, and muffins made with fresh eggs and organic produce raised right here at the farm or a gourmet brown bag for the hiker or businessperson on the go.

Newly renovated, each cottage comes complete with full kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots/pans, dishes, etc.) full bathroom with two-person shower, living/dining area, satellite tv and private entrance.

Each cottage sleeps six and is perfect for families with small children. In addition to the basic breakfast items you'll find in the refrigerator, a basket of freshly home-baked goods will be brought to your doorstep each morning.

Rates and Policies

Rates: $150 - $189
Room rates are based on double occupancy. Additional guests in the same room or cottage are $29/per person per night. Children 12 and under are $15 per night and children not requiring their own bed stay free. Use of our porta-crib is $15/stay. Certain holiday, event, and/or peak weekends require a two-night minimum stay.
Room rates do not include 8% NH Rentals tax.
Stays of 4 or more nights enjoy 10% off (total before tax), week-long stays are 15% off. Mid-week business and extended stay rates are available; please inquire for availability and rates.
Room rates are subject to change without notice except on confirmed reservations.
Room rates include a full hearty farm-fresh breakfast and afternoon refreshment for Inn guests, and ample homemade continental breakfast for cottage guests. We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions with advance notice.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy: A deposit of 50% will guarantee your room(s) when received by personal check or money order within 10 days of your reservation. Confirmation of your reservation will be sent upon receipt of your deposit.
Please notify us immediately if a change in your plans necessitates a revised reservation or cancellation. Your deposit will be refunded if you cancel your reservation up to 14 days before your expected arrival date or 30 days for reservations of six days or longer. Should you need to cancel within that period, we will refund your deposit, less a $30 fee per room, per night. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your expected arrival date will be charged in full unless we are able to re-rent your room.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. or by prior special arrangement. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., the Inn staff is busy cleaning, baking, and preparing for your visit. Unless special arrangements have been made ahead of time for you to arrive earlier, please do not arrive before 3 so we have time to fully prepare for your stay.
The Inn is not suitable for children under 12, but the cottages are perfect for families with children of any age or small groups.
Floral and gift service to complete the perfect getaway can be arranged with prior notice, please inquire.
Fully utilized, the Inn and cottages can sleep twenty guests and is perfect for family gatherings, group meetings, and/or educational workshops. Please inquire early to ensure availability.
The Inn at Valley Farms is strictly a non-smoking establishment. Smoking is permitted outside the buildings only.
Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets, but the Walpole Veterinary Hospital has a boarding facility right in town (603/756-4731).
