Green Gables Bed & Breakfast is the perfect adult getaway, whether you are taking a romantic break, on vacation or in town for business. Green Gables is a warm and friendly Victorian-style home one block from the Pacific Ocean and one of the most beautiful stretches of sandy beach on the Oregon coast.

We are within easy walking distance to shops, galleries and restaurants and are neighbors to the Newport Performing Arts Center, a great place to take in a play or movie.

Our common areas are located on the lower level. Adjacent to our coffeehouse/bakery you'll find two rooms of mass market fiction, mysteries, thrillers, science fiction and westerns in both paperback and hard cover. A dedicated childrens' reading room and a discriminating selection of non-fiction are also sure to please.

Both our guest rooms have queen beds with down comforters, cable TV, DVD/VCR player, refrigerator, microwave and a private bathroom with a two-person whirlpool tub.

Breakfast is served in our coffeehouse & bakery where you have a choice of one of our many fresh baked pastries and expertly made espresso drinks, served together with a delicious piece of quiche. Special dietary requests need to be made in advance at time of reservation.

Rates and Policies

High-Season, Holidays & Special events: $140.00 per night. Multiple nights (excluding weekends) $130.00.
Lo-season (Oct.-April) $120.00 per night. Multiple nights (excluding weekends) $110.00.
Prices subject to change!
Turret Suite reservations for Fri. & Sat. require a two-night minimum. This includes the Gables Room on Holiday weekends.
Rates are based on double occupancy. Local lodging tax (9.5%). Oregon State tax (1%).

Check-In: Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and checkout is 11:00 a.m. If you are going to arrive late please call so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 48 hrs. prior to scheduled arrival. If we receive less than 48 hrs. notice, you will be responsible for each night of your stay that we are unable to re-book.
Restrictions: No smoking. Facilities not suitable for children. No pets.
Special dietary requests need to be made in advance at time of reservation.

While you're here, visit our coffeehouse, bakery and bookstore located in the lower level of the house. Best espresso drinks on the coast! We also feature Wicked Wix West candles - hand poured candles made with natural and organic materials in a variety of colors & scents!
