Welcome to the Cherished Pearl, a Victorian bed & breakfast located in
Honey Brook, Pennsylvania.

Opened in January 2004, we offer two rooms available for rent year round. Included in the price is access to a guests' living room, shared bath, and breakfast in our formal dining room.

We are located along the Horseshoe Pike (US 322) in Honey Brook, three blocks east of the intersection of routes US 322 and PA 10. For driving directions, click here or the menu above. The town of Honey Brook is near the western border of Chester County, which is conveniently located between Philadelphia and Lancaster County.

The Dining Room

Our beautiful Victorian dining room invites you into its warm pink ambiance. Admire the hand-carved wooden fireplace while you relax over coffee at our spacious dining table.

Our dining room seats up to eight people. You're invited to share your breakfast with the guests staying in the other bedroom. It's a great way to make friends and get some tips on area attractions.

Antique dishware and fresh cut flowers add that special touch to your dining experience.

Each morning enjoy a sumptuous breakfast of assorted fruit, pastries and breads. We also offer a hot item such as quiche or eggs to fortify you for a day of adventures in the area.

  • Joanna Furnace (15 minutes) 19th century charcoal fired iron furnace. Originally started in 1791 and continued operations until 1898. Living history museum with special events throughout the year

  • Yellow Springs (40 minutes)145 acre living village demonstrating the historical and cultural heritage spanning 275 years.
  • Mill at Anselma (40 minutes) Working grist mill dating back to 1747
  • Landis Valley Farm Museum (40 minutes)
  • Valley Forge National Historical Park (45 minutes)
  • Golf Courses: If you are a golfer, there are several courses in the area that should challenge your game.
  • Outlet Shopping: If you are looking for bargains, both Lancaster and Reading offer world-class outlet shopping.
  • Hibernia County Park (10 minutes) 890 acres available for bicycling, birding, hiking, interpretive trails, picnicking. 90 acre lake for fishing and small boating.
  • Warwick County Park (30 minutes) 455 acres for hiking, nature study and picnicking. Multi-use trails.
  • Struble Lake (10 minutes) 386 acre impoundment available for fishing. Non-powered boats and boats with electric motors permitted. PA Fish & Boat Commission regulations apply.
  • French Creek State Park (30 minutes) Fishing, hiking (40 miles of trails), boating (non-powered and electric powered), swimming pool, hunting, orienteering course, disc golf courses, environmental education.
  • Marsh Creek State Park (35 minutes)
  • Wineries & Microbreweries: Southeastern Pennsylvania is a wonderful place to discover local wines and beers.

In 2001 we purchased the home and in 2004 we decided to open it to the public. We want to share our home with people who appreciate history, architecture and are looking for a quiet, relaxed atmosphere to spend several nights.
