| Our Bed & Breakfast is a farm home, which means we have an old farmhouse (circa 1863), barn and other out buildings. But we have no animals (other than Mutley, our barn dog), and we do not farm. However, we are surrounded by one of the largest areas of farmland left in Lancaster County - which is why it is so peaceful here. |
Just across the creek is one of the many Amish farms that dot the area and a one-room schoolhouse. We can also help you plan your itinerary while you are here with maps, guides, tours, suggestions and recommendations to get you out in the countryside where you can get a real flavor of the area. At Hillside Farm Bed & Breakfast we have three guest rooms, one suite, and two private Country Cottages for couples only.

We would also be happy to arrange for you to have dinner
with an Amish family if you wish. Advance notice for reservations is required. Lancaster County holds a Quilter's Heritage Festival in the month of April, if your visit has you here at that time of the year, you wouldn't want to miss all the hand made Amish quilts on display. |
There are three guest rooms with
private bath, and one suite
in the main house.
All rooms have air conditioning, paddle fans, separate heat thermostats, night stands, stacks of magazines, alarm clock radios, dressers, upholstered chairs, bathrobes, and a pitcher of refreshing spring water. |
