Activities at Laurel Ridge:
You've been traveling for days, seeing and doing lots of wonderful things, but you're getting tired and beginning to miss the comfy feeling of...home. You're ready to take a day or so and just sit. Laurel Ridge is the place to do just that. Pick a spot, any spot, and drop! Enjoy the quiet! Enjoy the sound of running water! Enjoy the view! Walk our pleasant ridge-top road.  Many of our guests have enjoyed picking blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries in season. We also have videos, books, games, and puzzles for you to enjoy during your stay.

Within driving distance:
In the woods not far from our house there is a marker where Blair, Centre & Huntingdon counties converge. These counties' population centers (Altoona, State College & Huntingdon) are each 30 minutes away. Altoona has it's captivating railraod history featuring the world famous Horseshoe Curve and the Railroaders Memorial Museum. Huntingdon county features Raystown Lake, Rails-to-trails "Lower Trail", several caverns and museums. State College is home to Penn State University, while Bellefonte and Boalsburg are nearby communities with deep and fascinating historical roots.

Executive Retreat

Executive Retreat for yourself and up to 3 key people, away from the distractions of the office and traditional meeting venues. Consider the quiet, seclusion and comfort of our Bed & Breakfast! Relaxed discussion can take place outside on our canopied glider in the water garden, or on the secluded "tree house" deck. Inside, spread out on the large table in the Great Room or retreat to the B&B common room. Of course we offer a full breakfast. Lunches can be catered, and there are numerous excellent restaurants to choose from for dinner. For relaxation there are six golf courses within thirty minutes. If you want to get "Really Away" give us a call to talk about it.

Some people like written directions better than maps.
Here they are:

From I-76 (Pa Turnpike) Bedford exit 146 (11):
Take I-99 North and exit at Bald Eagle Turn right onto 350 South toward Warriors Mark. Proceed 1.9 miles and turn right onto Mountain Laurel Ct. (1st right over the ridge). Go 200' up grade. Note the sign on the mail box post. Turn left, Laurel Ridge is on the immediate right. Park on the grass between the road and the walk in front of the Victorian lamp.

From I-80 Driving West:
Milesburg exit 158. Take 220 South through Port Matilda (traffic signal) then 8 miles to Bald Eagle (next traffic signal). Turn left onto I-99. In 1/10th mile turn left onto 350 South toward Warriors Mark. Proceed 1.9 miles and turn right onto Mountain Laurel Ct. (1st right over the ridge). Go 200' upgrade. Note the sign on the mail box post. Turn left, Laurel Ridge is on the immediate right. Park on the grass between the road and the walk in front of the Victorian lamp.

We also enjoy hosting specialty nights or weekends such as: Bachelorette parties, pajama parties, wine tasting and scrapbooking, or any other "get together" occasion for the ladies, or couples, to get away and have fun for a day or so.

Do you have some friends who might enjoy our "getaway"?
