Murray House has lovely guest rooms with private baths and best of all private, outside, entrances to each room. Some beds have canopy tops.

You can have your personally served gourmet breakfast either in your room or on your own private patio. For your convenience, your room has a TV, VCR, A/C and fans.

There is a small refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave and toaster. You never have to leave.

The second level guest room has a panoramic view of Almy Pond and distant ocean view.

There are lovely flower gardens surrounding the swimming pool and hot tub for two.

You are a short (5 minutes) walk to a lovely secluded semi-private beach and the famous Newport Mansions and Cliff Walk are just around the corner. Well-trained pets and kids over 12 are welcome. All of this and at reasonable rates.

Drive for just a few minutes and you'll arrive in downtown Newport, where you can sample great restaurants, taverns, and pubs. Great shopping, boat cruises, and tours to the Doris Duke mansion, Wine country, as well as the renowned Tennis Hall of Fame, much, much more.

Rates and Policies
  • Prices are seasonal, in the $ 95.00 to $ 195.00 range. Subject to state and local taxes.
  • Reservations are secured with a prepayment of 1/2 amount due. Balance is cash, which is preferred, personal checks or credit cards.
  • Check-in time: 4 pm to 7 pm (unless otherwise arranged)
  • Check-out time: 11:30 am
  • A Gourmet breakfast is served to the privacy of your room between 8:30 and 9:30am.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY:
    • If cancellation is received 14 days prior to arrival, you will receive a refund, minus $25.00 handling fee.
    • If cancellation is received in less than 14 days prior to arrival, you will be charged for entire stay, unless it can be resold.
    • You will receive a raincheck for a future stay, depending upon availability.
    • Sorry, no refund will be issued for early departures.
