Rowell's Inn is one of those places that ought to be viewed from a horse drawn sleigh or a vintage car, sitting as it does on a bend between Chester and Londonderry. No one needs to produce credentials to prove that the Inn belongs on the National Register of Historic Places. |
|
The Greek Revival style brick building is a fine example of an unusual recessed gable
style found in the Connecticut Valley, Vermont and occasionally in New Hampshire.
The front porch rockers by Summer and the various fireplaces and wood burning stove in the
Winter enhance the "True Vermonter" lifestyle.
The past takes over as soon as one opens the door, the place
overflows with historic detail. Rowell's Inn offers hospitality and service not found in
many other places.

Rowell's offers lavishly beautiful rooms with many antique furnishing, country breakfasts, a four course dinner, English style pub, rooms with fireplaces, all in a relaxing New England setting. |
