The Blue Spruce Inn in within easy
walking distance of downtown and city park in
beautiful historic Lander.
This large gracious brick home was built in 1920 by a local sheep rancher and is surrounded by giant blue spruce trees. The magnificent dark oak crown molding and woodwork are outstanding examples of the Arts and Crafts period of the early 20th century. Stained and beveled glass in windows and the breakfront of the dining room are also very typical of that era. The beautiful oak floors are laid in a unique design rarely seen. Most chandelier fixtures are original. The large front porch opens into a spacious living room with a beautiful wooden staircase.
The hosts are truly friendly. Sip coffee or tea in the evening on the porch swing or in the sun room at a bistro table. Enjoy a sumptuous full breakfast that will delight you with some unique recipes. A recreation room for our guests use, features a pool table, dart board and wet bar.
